Unfortunately, due to the volume of mail we receive, we are no longer
able to personally respond to all the notes we get from readers. We answer as many as we
can, but if you don't get a response, please don't be dismayed. We do read and appreciate
every note we receive.
We frequently get asked the same questions, and we've gathered the
answers in our E-Mail FAQ section: you might want to check these before writing.
When you email us, please make sure that you put us on your
"white list" or otherwise instruct your mail server to receive replies from us.
We get a GREAT DEAL of mail, and it is disheartening--to say the least--to get our replies
bounced back to us with messages such as "This mail server has a blocking feature
that rejected your" etc, etc. The time wasted could have been spent answering
somebody else! Since we respond from our personal email addresses, rather than
prestonchild.com, please ensure you can receive mail from tidewater.net and optonline.net
before you mail us.
Note that we do not share your email address with others. We do send a
very tiny percentage of the most quotable on to our publisher. The only time you will get
mail from us is (a) in response to mail you send us, or (b) to notify you of new Preston
and Child novels.
