And here are Douglas and Lincoln in a bookstore in a small town in southern New Hampshire (viz, in the heart of New England) at the conclusion of their tour. No doubt Lincoln was assuring the assembled multitudes that Constance Greene was, at heart, a really nice person, and that they had no cause for worry... ;-)
